Short answers to the questions new ProspectingView users ask most, each linking to the page with the full detail. ProspectingView is a CRM and calling platform for commercial real estate prospecting: import your lists, search them in plain English, and call through them one person at a time.
What file types can I import?
Section titled “What file types can I import?”Excel workbooks (.xlsx) and CSV files (.csv), up to 25 MB, with one tab or many. CoStar, Reonomy and HubSpot exports are recognized automatically; any other spreadsheet is matched with AI and reviewed by you. Save older .xls files and Google Sheets as .xlsx first. Can I re-import an updated file without creating duplicates?

Properties are matched to the ones you already have by the rule you choose, such as your file’s own ID, the parcel number or the street address. People are matched by phone number and email. Why did my address change after I imported it?
Section titled “Why did my address change after I imported it?”ProspectingView standardizes addresses and places them on the map, so the same building always matches the next time you import it. The building is the same; only the spelling is cleaned up. See Import a CoStar export.
Why does the power dialer call only one person at a time?
Section titled “Why does the power dialer call only one person at a time?”So that everyone who answers hears you right away. Dialers that ring several people at once leave the extra people in silence or hang up on them. ProspectingView’s dialer is single-line on purpose. See Power dialer.
Why is there no answering-machine detection?
Section titled “Why is there no answering-machine detection?”Detecting a machine makes a real person wait in silence while the system decides, and many hang up. Instead, when you hear voicemail, you press Drop voicemail and move on. See Voicemail drop.
How do I avoid calling people I already called?
Section titled “How do I avoid calling people I already called?”When you start a session, anyone called in your recently-called window is left out unless you switch on Include everyone. Admins set the default window in Settings › Dialer. See Power dialer.
Can I use my existing phone number?
Section titled “Can I use my existing phone number?”Yes. Verify it with a code and keep it with your current carrier, or move it to ProspectingView. See Phone numbers.
Does AI ever change my data without asking?
Section titled “Does AI ever change my data without asking?”No. AI suggestions wait for your yes before anything changes, drafts are yours to edit, and AI never writes the numbers in your documents. See How ProspectingView uses AI.
Is my data used to train AI? Where is it hosted?
