Run your first plain-English search
To search in plain English, open a grid such as Properties and press the Ask in plain English button beside the search box. Type what you want, for example “Austin multifamily we haven’t touched in 6 months”, and press Enter. ProspectingView turns the sentence into filters you can see and edit. Save the result as a list to call it later.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You have imported your first list, so there is something to search.
- In the side menu, open ProspectingView, then the Properties tab.
- Press the Ask in plain English button at the right of the search box. The box now says Ask in plain English…, and the button shows Plain-English search is on.
- Type a sentence, for example “retail within a mile of a Starbucks in Plano”, and press Enter.
- Read the result line above the grid. It says what ProspectingView searched for and how many results it found.
- Check the filter chips in the search box. Remove a chip or change its value if it isn’t what you meant.
- To keep the result, press the save button at the right of the result line and name your list.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Your saved list opens as a tab next to the grid tabs. Open it any time, share it with your team, or start calling from it. Next, run your first dialing session.
Troubleshooting

Section titled “It says “I may not have understood that fully””ProspectingView wasn’t sure about part of your sentence. Check the chips, or rephrase with the words you see as column names, such as “cap rate” or “year built”.
It says “Couldn’t apply” and lists some words
Section titled “It says “Couldn’t apply” and lists some words”Those parts of your sentence don’t match anything ProspectingView can filter on. The rest of the search still ran.
No results
Section titled “No results”The page says No properties match your search. Try a broader search, or clear it to see everything again.
