Import a Reonomy export
To import a Reonomy export, download it from Reonomy as an Excel workbook and upload it in ProspectingView with + › Upload File. ProspectingView recognizes Reonomy’s layout, including its separate properties, contacts and occupants tabs, and links each contact and occupant to the right property using Reonomy’s own property IDs. Review the wizard and press Apply Import.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Download the export from Reonomy as Excel (.xlsx), with all its tabs. Keep the original headers.
- The file must be 25 MB or smaller.
- In ProspectingView, open ProspectingView in the side menu, press + and choose Upload File.
- Drop the Reonomy workbook in Upload Spreadsheet, give it an Import name, and press Upload.
- On Review sheets, check that Reonomy is shown as the source and that each tab has the right role: Properties, Contacts and Occupants. Rows are identified by Reonomy’s ID column.
- On Connections (How your sheets connect), check that the contacts and occupants tabs each point at the properties tab through the Reonomy property ID. These connections decide which person is linked to which building.
- Continue through Skipped columns, AI Suggestions and Column mapping. A Reonomy file usually needs few or no decisions.
- Check Invalid Rows. On Confirm & apply, add the records to a new list if you want to call them.
- Press Confirm Import, then Apply Import.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Properties, their owners’ contacts and their occupants appear in the grids, already linked. Re-importing a newer Reonomy export later updates the same properties instead of creating new ones, because each property keeps its Reonomy ID.
Troubleshooting

The occupants tab was skipped
Section titled “The occupants tab was skipped”Open Sheet role on that tab and choose Occupants. If ProspectingView asked Not sure this sheet is records — skip it?, the tab may have had very few rows.
