Review matches and send offers
Open ProspectingAlpha › Matches to see buyer needs matched to your properties. Each match is ranked Strong, Good or Possible, and Why this matched lists every criterion. Send suitable properties to the buyer from your own mailbox with Send candidates. Turn a live match into a deal with Create deal, or set it aside with Not now or Not for this buyer.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You have at least one Buy Box and some offerings or properties.
- To send properties by email, connect your mailbox in Settings › Email.
Review a match
Section titled “Review a match”- In the side menu, open ProspectingAlpha › Matches. The number beside it counts new matches.
- Open a match. Its tier (Strong match, Good match or Possible match) is at the top.
- Read Why this matched. Each criterion says Fits (for example “right in the range” or “near the edge”), Outside, Not on file or Anything works. Press and … more to see every criterion.
Send properties to a buyer
Section titled “Send properties to a buyer”- From the buyer’s Buy Box, press Send candidates.
- Pick the properties to send, up to 25 in one email so it stays readable.
- Choose who to Send to and, optionally, add a short note. The property details are added for you.
- Press Send. The email goes from your own connected mailbox, and the properties are tracked on the buyer’s shortlist.
Create a deal from a match
Section titled “Create a deal from a match”When the buyer is interested, press Create deal on the match. The deal records the match it came from, and the match shows Deal created.
Set a match aside
Section titled “Set a match aside”- Not now: hide it for the moment. It comes back if something material changes.
- Not for this buyer: never show this pairing again.
Call off-market owners
Section titled “Call off-market owners”Off-market ideas are buildings in your workspace that are not listed but fit a buyer. Each shows Not listed — worth a call and the owner line, for example “held since 2009 · last contacted 8 months ago”. Press Call the owner, Open property, Shortlist, or Create Sell Box if the owner wants to sell.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“No matches right now”
Section titled ““No matches right now””Matching runs automatically as offerings appear. Check that your Sell Boxes are Active and your Buy Box is not too narrow.
I sent the wrong property
Section titled “I sent the wrong property”The email has gone and can’t be recalled. Send a short follow-up from your mailbox.
